This Way Ahead, a program of Enterprise for High School Students, is recruiting SF high school students ages 16-18 for our training and employment program. To apply youth must attend an Information Session at our office, 200 Pine St, 6th floor. You can call 415-392-7600 ext 319 to sign-up for one of the remaining Information Sessions.

Program Description

This Way Ahead begins with a 14 week (January-April) Job Readiness and Career Exploration Training. Once youth have completed the training they are eligible to apply for an exclusive 4 month (June-September) paid internship in Gap and Old Navy stores in San Francisco.

Program Perks:

• Through the training youth will gain:
  • Confidence, communication skills and positive decision-making abilities
  • Job-readiness skills (how to get a job and keep a job)
  • Access to supportive adult role models
  • Greater access to employment and career opportunities
• $50.00 stipend every two weeks
• Free monthly Muni pass
• Customer service training from managers at Gap and Old Navy
• Possibility of paid 4 month internship in a Gap or Old Navy store
• Enterprise Membership: access to our job bank & 3 paid summer programs
